Media may be used for your course under the following conditions:

• It is a legally obtained copy
• Access is limited to registered students
• It is directly related to the course content
• Only clips or short portions are used
• Copyright information and attribution are provided

Best Practices when using streaming media:

• Use a link to outside source material, do not upload the file
• If using the KCC streaming server embed the file do not link
• Use the link behind password protection, such as in a course management system
• Prevent copying of the media if possible
• If copy prevention is not possible, limit the time the link is available
