Through a grant from the KCC Foundation, 37 Early Childhood Literacy Bags were purchased for KCC's Early Childhood students and made available through the KCC Library for checkout.
Here's a sampling of the covers from books available in the Early Childhood Literacy Bags-
- Each bag contains 3-4 children's books geared toward specific age groups: Baby or Toddler/Preschooler/School Age. For example, Early Child Literacy, Bag 1, Baby or Toddler contains the following books:

- Baby colors from DK Publishing
- Black on white by Tana Hoban
- Along with the books, are suggestions and helps for parents and caregivers on reading to children.
